Don't Call This a Comeback!

After a year long hiatus, I'm back.  BACK.  Props to anyone who recognized the title coming from LL lyrics.

Last time I left you, I had just been laid off.  The start up company that lured me away from my corporate job of five years figured out they couldn't afford my salary after three months.

Here I am, so sweet and unsuspecting, picking daisy doodles, contorting myself into the requisite style-sharing blogger pose, last year, shortly before the lay off...

Aaron and I are having a baby boy!  Yes, here I am, five months preg, desperately clinging to my non-maternity clothes.  I've just realized that the new belly and boobs make my dress too short so I'll add that to the rest of my clothes in post partem storage (*sigh*).

I know you didn't even notice my hemline what with the awesome shoes I'm wearing!  This past weekend, Aaron went off to the church men's retreat, leaving me unsupervised to waddle on over to Aldo to scoop up these studded creepers.

I'm telling you, love at first sight.  Originally, I went in for these but chose Steve Madden's meaner version instead.  My spike obsession knows no bounds.  Check 'em out in action here.
